It’s only one month away: Bike Helena Shuttle Fest and Montana Brewers Association Summer Festival

Join in the fun for the weekend that was ranked the #1 Summer Event of Helena!  Bike or hike hard during the day and sample some of the best Montana beers and the Montana Brewers Association Summer Festival on Saturday.  Make your hotel reservations now!  The free shuttle shuttle runs Friday to Sunday — with the brewfest on Saturday.

BIKES

Day 1 (August 14th) of Bike Helena Shuttle Fest, the Trail Rider will be taking riders up to MacDonald Pass to ride on the Continental Divide Scenic Trail, from the Ten Mile Treatment Plant.  This shuttle usually operates only on Friday evenings, but today, it will run from 12:00 pm to 5:45 pm.  How many laps can you do?  Check out our interactive map that details each location that the Trail Rider will be servicing.

After your laps on the CDT,  there will be a Shuttle Fest party at a location TBD on Friday evening in Downtown Helena.

Friday Ride and shuttle details:

Riding directions on MacDonald Pass/CDT are as follows: Travel south on CDT Trail No. 337. After 3.5 miles, you will reach a large meadow with a CDT sign. This is where you will need to locate Switchback Ridge Trail No 348, which will take you east to Rimini Rd. The trail is located at the Northeast corner of the meadow. If you follow the northern tree line of the meadow, you will eventually find the trail. There is a sign marking where the trail starts. Remember that it is up to you (the rider) to get to Ten Mile Treatment Plant for the shuttle pick up. The Trail Rider is not responsible for bringing anyone to or from Helena. Day 2 (August 15th) of Bike Helena Shuttle Fest, riders will have the option of taking the Trail Rider Shuttle from theWomen’s Mural in Downtown Helena to three different trailheads in Helena’s South Hills Trail System. The Shuttle will run continuously from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Riders can be dropped off or picked up at any of the trailheads on the Bike Helena Shuttle Fest route.  Check out our interactive map that details each location that the Trail Rider will be servicing.  Here is a printable Shuttle Fest Day 2 & 3 Map

Need something to do on Saturday when you’re done riding?  Check out the Montana Brewers Association brewfest atMemorial Park.  This event will feature over 20 Montana breweries and over 60 Montana made beers.

*The Trail Rider shuttle is expected to be at the Women’s Mural in 40-45 minute intervals starting at 8:00 am

We’re running a FREE shuttle from the Women’s Mural on Broadway to Memorial Park from 2:30-9:30 the day of the festival, Saturday, August 15.
