Time: Weekend Mass: Saturday 5:00 pm Sunday 7:30, 9:00 & 11:00 am Daily Mass: Monday through Friday 7:00 am Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 7:00 am and 12 Noon

Guided tours are available the week after Memorial Day through Labor Day Tuesdays-Thursdays, 1:00-3:00 p.m. Other months of the year guided tours are arranged by calling the Parish Office, (406) 442-5825.

The Cathedral is always open for people to visit; please note Mass schedule below. You will find the North doors of the Cathedral open to visitors. Other entrances are closed most days.

The site for the building of the Cathedral church was selected by Bishop John Carroll. It was purchased in 1905 through a generous contribution made by Thomas Cruse. Mr. A. O. Von Herbulis of Washington, D.C. was commissioned to be the architect. Mr. Von Herbulis trained abroad and was chosen because of his extensive knowledge of the Cathedrals of Europe.
