When you think the 4th of July, you can’t help but to think fireworks. It pretty much goes hand-in-hand. The explosion of colors booming in the air followed by the ohhhs and ahhs IS Independence Day. This 4th, I’m going to enjoy explosions of a different kind – explosions of wildflower color. Right now the mountains around Helena are exploding with colors: Red Indian Paintbrush, White Bear Grass, Hot Pink Geranium. The photos above were taken just last weekend hiking around Helena. For more information on suggested trails, check out this link. Enjoy the beautiful array of colors for yourself this weekend in Helena.
