Jefferson County Museum

In keeping with the Jefferson County theme, the museum collects and displays items pertaining to Jefferson County. The museum is housed in the 1898 Clancy Schoolhouse and the pressed brass ceilings and decorative crown molding add to the historical ambiance of the artifacts. Permanent displays like a late 19th century schoolroom, hand built frontier town and wind up phonograph are in place for viewing. The museum will periodically offer lecture and slide programs for both children and adults throughout the summer.
