A hidden garden sanctuary located just south of Helena will be the perfect place for your group tour to get some fresh, fragrant mountain air. It is also the ideal energizing location for a conference to visit and explore.
The Prickly Pear Creek meanders through the garden. The tranquil sounds of the waters flowing over the rocks, makes Tizer Gardens feel more magical and serene. Visit the vegetable, herb and rose gardens. Find peace in the meditation garden, spot humming birds and butterflies in the colorful hummingbird garden. Take a wildflower walk you might be lucky enough to spot some of Montana’s most amazing wildflowers from crocus, and buttercups to sugar bowls and pussy toes. While you are up there, sit a while on the observation deck and let the breeze blow your cares away.
Tours of the garden can be arranged by contacting Belva Lotzer at 866-933-8789 or via e-mail at [email protected]. The admission price to the gardens is $5/person. The staff are happy to assist in arranging catered picnics, brown bag lunches, barbeques, wiener roast, receptions or perhaps a lovely high tea for groups from 15 to 200.
Tizer Gardens is open from Mother’s Day to the end of September.
